Dr Sophie

Dr Sophie originally hails from Perth and graduated from Murdoch University in Western Australia. Following graduation, she moved to regional NSW to start her veterinary career. Sophie has since settled in Melbourne and now calls Melbourne home. She has worked in several different practices within the northern suburbs, including a stint at a local emergency centre. Sophie prides herself on creating a calm environment for patients, clients, and staff, making a visit to the vet as fear-free as possible, and believes in working as a team with her clients, patients, and team members to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. Sophie has special interests in pain management, low-stress handling, and palliative care, but she enjoys all aspects of general practice including medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Sophie is owned by her 2 foster fails Merlin and Winston, who keep her entertained with their antics at home. She also lives with her fiancé, and enjoys doing photography, and trying new foods in her spare time.
