Melbourne Pet Friendly Cafes
For too long our best furry friends have been pushed aside while we pop in to the café for our weekend coffee pit stop. With a bowl of water at their feet they wait patiently outside tethered to a pole or a bench for their humans to finish off their double shot caramel soy latte. But fear no more people, we have found some special places where you and your best friend can enjoy a pupcake (or a pint) together in the warm summer sun.
The Farm Café is perched on the beautiful surrounds of the Collingwood Children’s Farm which arguable one of the the most beautiful open spaces in Melbourne. With a very homely and warm style of cooking you are treated to this country in the city style escape. The best news is you can bring your dogs (and your kids) to be treated to the lush greenery that surrounds the café. After being treated to some delicious fare like Farmers Breakfast and Goat’s Toast, you and your four legged friend can roam the grounds for hours.
Also nestled just a stone’s throw away from the Collingwood Children’s Farm, the Convent bakery is on the ground of the Abbotsford Convent which boasts 11 historical buildings and is also one of Melbourne’s most important art, educational and cultural precinct’s.
