The Reservoir Vet in the Local Community

Dr Andrea's visit to the school

Our team love being involved in events within our local community, and recently our team have been out and about educating students and locals about the joys of owning pets, the role of a veterinarian as well as giving advice on the best way to provide animal care.

Dr Andrea visited St Margaret Mary’s Primary School to present a talk on caring for pets. She also spoke at a Child Care Centre about the role of being a Vet. Dr Natalie and Nurse Sharyn visited Reservoir East Primary school to discuss with committee members the husbandry of keeping chickens at the school. The team also attended the Darebin Community Kite Festival earlier in the year.

We support Year 10 work experience students to help them gauge weather a career with animals is what they aspire to. As this is very popular we do have to limit to one student per month during the school year.

At Reservoir Vet we welcome and try to accommodate any requests for visits to local community groups, schools or child care centres. Please email your requests via our Contact Us page.
