Ma - Clinic Cat and General Manager

Meet one of our best friends Ma, she keeps us company at the clinic and enjoys lots of hugs from both our team and our clients. Visit Ma, view photos of her friends and find out what she is up to on her very own Facebook Page

Dr Andrea Montesano, BVSc - Veterinarian

Andrea graduated at Melbourne University. She has been at Reservoir Vet Clinic for over 10 years now. She has a strong interest in all areas of general vet practice - medicine, surgery, behaviour, exotic animals (the small fluffy and feathered ones), and is passionate about providing excellent customer service. Andrea attends further education every year on an ongoing basis in a variety of topics. Recently she has completed a rabbits and rodents course, opthamology and behaviour tutorials from a behaviour specialist. Andrea lives with her two chickens, Hilly and Lilly; her cat, Ebony; and a lovely Angora rabbit named Lincoln, all adopted as strays of course!

Dr Raj Wicks - Veterinarian

Raj graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science followed by a Bachelor of Science Honours from the University of Queensland in 1995. Raj completed his Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2000.

Raj worked in Brisbane for 1.5 years, after which he decided to move back to ‘sunny’ Melbourne. Raj’s main interests include sports and running, the Richmond Football team and traveling.

Raj has two boisterous dogs, a Kelpie X named Guinness and a Border Collie called Tillie. Tillie and Guinness love to go running with Raj and dig lots of holes.

Suzanne Leibel, BVSc (Hons), BSc (Hons) - Veterinarian

Suzanne started working at Reservoir Veterinary Clinic in 2007. Suzanne graduated from Sydney University with First Class Honours. Prior to her veterinary studies she lived in London and worked as a geneticist studying human diseases. Suzanne is interested in surgery and feline medicine and spends some of her spare time scrubbing into interesting surgeries with a specialist surgeon.

Suzanne serves two lovely (but neurotic) tabby cats, Molly and Poppy, who were both rescued from her work in Sydney and a beautiful Lab, also rescued from work, called Polly.

On a personal note Lauren is the proud owner of Roscoe her 12 year old Silky Terrier and Basil her one year old British Short Hair cat. Lauren is also ‘surrogate’ mum to Ma the spoilt clinic cat.

Kara has an interest in animal physiotherapy and has completed further study in this area. She has just moved back from the UK where she was working as a veterinary nurse in a rescue centre. She loves being a nurse and is loving being back in Australia! Kara has a particular love of all things feline.

Sharyn - Veterinary Nurse

Sharyn has been a veterinary nurse for around three years after obtaining her Certificate IV from NMIT. During this time she has developed her love for vet nursing and her special interests include reptiles and exotic pets. She loves chatting to people about their furry family.

She is the proud owner of two large dogs, Trouble and Bella, two cats, Kitty and Charlie, two bunnies, Bucks and Miss Annie, three turtles, three blue tongue lizards, an aviary of canaries and lorikeets and lovebirds, and just to finish off, some fish! With this list, Sharyn has the largest animal family of the whole clinic!

Rebecca - Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Rebecca recently completed her Certificate II in Animal Studies and is currently studying a Diploma of Animal Technology. In the future she wishes to study for her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and become a qualified veterinary nurse. She is the proud owner of one very demanding Border Collie named Maggie.
